Welcome to Sloan Plaza
An upscale high-rise luxury condominium in the heart of downtown Ann Arbor.
About Sloan Plaza
The Building
Ranch and penthouse style units with 1 to 3 bedrooms—some with large garden terraces—offer spectacular views of the city and surrounding neighborhoods. A few units are commercial, but most have been converted to residential over the years.
With only 47 units, Sloan Plaza offers a neighborly community.
Pets, within guidelines, are allowed. Non-owner rentals are strictly limited.
Location
The central campus of The University of Michigan is one block away, which includes the Natural History Museum, the Art Museum, and frequent lectures open to the public.
Within a five minute walk you will find Main Street and Kerrytown, offering a wide array of coffee shops, restaurants, and local art galleries, and major venues: Hill Auditorium, Rackham Auditorium, Mendelsohn Theater, the Power Center for the Performing Arts, and the Michigan and State Theaters.
Amenities
We offer a premium secured entry way with a lobby attendant and on-site manager during daytime hours.
Residents enjoy easy access to reserved covered parking with private storage and there is a shared EV charging station.
Snow removal, landscaping, and exterior maintenance are the responsibility of the association.
Our History
Sloan Plaza was built in 1986 by O’Neal Construction. Developer Donald Sloan Chisholm named the project after his mother, Margaret Sloan Chisholm, and installed her Steinway in one of the units.
There he hosted gatherings and housed legendary jazz artists performing in the city, including Dizzy Gillespie, Diana Krall, and Andre Previn.
Chisholm was a founding board member of the Southeastern Michigan Jazz Association and received the Jazz Hero Award in 2015.
